Mary Poppins
Our favorite nanny (Auntie Abby) sent a link to some adorable photos she has taken of Gavin and Anna this summer. My favorites are the kiddie pool and pudding finger painting! Check them out at http://tinyurl.com/23brn8

Another tooth!
Well, Gavy's looking more and more jack-o-lantern'ish every day! He sprouted his 3rd tooth over the weekend, with the 4th not far behind! I haven't gotten a pic of it yet, but if I did, this is what it would look like... he was born with the bottom right one, so it's by far the biggest. Then the bottom left one came along about 2 months ago, and now the top left just appeared. It looks like the next one will be to the left of the newest one, making for a very crooked (yet adorable) smile!! :)

Plane ride
Eric and I got to go for a plane ride last weekend - it was a blast! We flew out of Lake Elmo airport, down the St. Croix river to where it meets the "muddy Mississippi", then towards St. Paul and back over the eastern suburbs. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, so we could see lots of cool stuff!
Here's us getting ready to go up - we were surprisingly not nervous! It was a small 4-seater plane (I forgot what kind), and Eric even got to fly it himself for a while! Thanks for not crashing, Honey!

Here's our house from above...

And here's Nana and Bumpa's house! Theirs is the long gravel driveway in the bottom right of the picture. We could even see the big green floating island in the lake, although it's hard to see in this shot.

Big Carnelian:
Downtown Stillwater and the St. Croix - you can even (kind of) see that the lift bridge was up!
Here's Highway 36 under construction in North St. Paul - I was trying to take a picture of the big snowman ("Kenny"), but I sure don't see him in the pic! Oh well!

Pictures, pictures and more pictures!!
Gavy's first Twins game! We left in the 7th inning, when they were down something like 7 - 2 - we thought they'd lose for sure! Then, we got home and turned on the TV and they were still playing!! They had scored 5 runs in the 8th and 9th innings, to tie it up! They ended up losing in the 11th inning, but we sure missed a lot of baseball!! Oh well!! :)
You're never too young to start blogging, right? ;)
10 months sounds like a great age to start a blog!! And now that I (Mom/Katie) am working part-time (4-day weekends RULE!) and have a little more time on my hands, I thought I'd attempt to keep everyone updated on Gavin's life!
Did you know he can crawl now? He doesn't like to show off, so he doesn't do it often, but on occasion, he'll surprise us by getting up on all 4's and taking off! Usually his target is Tenny, who actually seems to like the attention, and is surprisingly gentle with Gavy! Hopefully they will stay friends for a long time!!

Eric took these pics last week when Auntie Abby was sick, so Eric got to stay home with Gavy. And no, none of us are hunters, in case you were wondering!! :)
Oh, and did I mention that Auntie Abby is nanny'ing Gavy for the summer? He's sooo lucky to have her with him Monday - Wednesday, instead of going to day care! Any chance you'll drop out of college and be our full-time nanny, Ab? One can dream... :) Last week big cousin Anna was over with them, too - and with the hot sunny weather, the 3 of them found lots of fun things to do! They played in the kiddie pool, colored chalk pictures on the SportCourt, and played outside with Tenny! Then, on Friday, Abby, Anna, Gavy and I went to Como Zoo (pictures coming soon!)... ahhhh - summer in Minnesota!! :)
