It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day... for a baby to be born!! Any time now, little one! You have successfully waited out the unseasonable April snow showers and frigid temperatures, and now we're taking a turn for the better... forecast says we could hit 70 degrees tomorrow! Sounds like a great time to make your grand entrance into the world!! :) No rush... whenever you're ready - or more likely Wednesday, which is when I'm scheduled to be induced!! One way or another, we'll see you by then! I can't wait!! :)
Big brother Gavin is getting into the spirit, too - we took out the baby swing and bouncy seats and installed the baby car seat in the car over the weekend - and every time he sees one of those things, he smiles, points and says "baby!" - and usually makes his sniffing/pretending to be asleep noise! Too adorable! He's going to be a wonderful big brother... and as long as we can get in and out of the hospital in a decent amount of time (none of this 36-hour labor stuff, please!!), I think we'll all be ready for the newest addition to the family!! :)
Baby's room is all ready... we got the final piece in the mail this weekend (the rug). I'll post pics tomorrow (unless we're in the hospital). Gavin's "Big Brother" t-shirt is freshly laundered, and we have almost all of the aunties in town, ready to entertain him! Marin's in from Baltimore for another week, and Abby's going to try to leave Marquette Wednesday night. So maybe Gavy won't even notice I'm away for a couple days!! We'll see...
